Michael Silverman has thirty years of global experience in compliance, strategic planning, program management, risk assessment, policy development, and organizational ethics. He is the author of Compliance Management for Public, Private or Nonprofit Organizations. His diverse experience includes sixteen years as a senior Compliance Officer and Human Resources Officer for Citigroup's global businesses, serving as a senior consultant to U.S. and state governments, managing several government agencies, and lecturing on policy, compliance, ethics and risk management. Mr. Silverman previously facilitated courses for FINRA and is on the faculty at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs where he teaches a graduate-level course on compliance management and ethics, and administers a workshop program in international finance and business. He was a fellow at the Ethics Resource Center based in Washington, D.C. and served as advisor to various nonprofit organizations.
