About The BGK Group

The BGK Group provides innovative financial training courses to help securities professionals stay up-to-date with changing financial products, rules and regulations. Courses are interactive, practical and are taught by financial industry experts, accomplished facilitators and regulators. As a result, participants stay fully engaged during the entire learning process, discuss the latest changes unfolding in the financial industries sector and can apply new concepts immediately upon return to the office.

Joanne Kula
Principal and Co-Founder

Prior to co-launching The BGK Group, Joanne developed and executed 50+ educational programs a year and managed talent of 80+ adjunct presenters for Member Education programs at FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) for seven years. In this role, Joanne stayed up-to-date with policy and regulatory compliance issues to ensure learning objectives were met; supervised development, revision, maintenance and implementation of new and existing content for educational programs; and identified and managed subject matter experts. Prior to FINRA, Joanne was the Project Manager, Business Development and In-House Training at the New York Institute of Finance/FT Knowledge for 10 years where she worked closely with clients to meet their unique training requirements.  She began her career at Lynch, Jones & Ryan/Citicorp and was instrumental in the planning and management of international conferences for two non-profit organizations – Institute for Quantitative Investment Research – United Kingdom and INQUIRE Europe. Joanne received her BBA in Management and Marketing from Pace University.
